UPM-Kymmene Oyj is a Finnish corporation in the forest sector. In 1996, Kymmene Corporation merged with Repola Oy and its subsidiary United Paper Mills Ltd to establish UPM-Kymmene. UPM is divided into six business divisions: UPM Fibres, UPM Energy, UPM Raflatac, UPM Specialty Papers, UPM Communication Papers, and UPM Plywood. The Group employs around 17,000 people and operates production plants in 11 countries. UPM stock is traded on the NASDAQ OMX Helsinki platform.
