Lupin

Lupin is a French mystery thriller streaming television series that aired on Netflix on January 8, 2021, and was developed by George Kay and François Uzan. The series has 10 episodes, the first five of which were published in January 2021 and the rest on June 11, 2021. It stars Omar Sy as Assane Diop, the only son of a Senegalese immigrant who has chosen a career as a professional thief after being inspired by the adventures of Arsène Lupin, a fictional figure in French literature. Lupin is a fictitious gentleman thief and master of disguise created in the early 1900s by French writer Maurice Leblanc, yet he is a true literary figure.

Lupin has topped Netflix's top 10 most viewed lists in France, Canada, Germany, Brazil, Italy, Spain, Argentina, and a number of other countries throughout the world. It's also climbed to No. 3 in the US, making it the first French-language show to reach the top ten there.
