The Forest (French: La Forêt) is a Delinda Jacobs-created and Julius Berg-directed French murder drama television series. It premiered on Belgian channel La Une on 30 May 2017 and on France 3 on 21 November 2017. In July 2018, the series had its worldwide premiere on Netflix.
La Forêt is a crime thriller about the disappearance of a teenage girl, Jennifer Lenoir, who goes missing in the Ardennes, France. Police investigate with the help of her instructor, who had a traumatic experience in the same woodland when she was younger. The six-part miniseries is fascinating from start to finish and is a must-see for fans of dark police dramas and small-town mysteries.
