Regarded as both a famous festival and a race, the Luwawa International Mountain Bike Marathon brings together the best mountain bikers from across Africa to compete on some pretty rough landscapes. Of course, at this festival, there is a lot of fun to go around with food and music, much to everyone's enjoyment.


The Luwawa International Mountain Bike Marathon is described as “a difficult but beautiful race” with a distance of 50 km; This is by no means an exaggeration. The track, which begins at the Luwawa Forest Lodge in the ridge shape of the South Viphya Forest Reserve, allows competitors as well as supporters to enjoy the stunning scenery.
