Lycée Michel Lucius
Lycée Michel Lucius, a government-supported high school in Luxembourg's capital, has provided a good education for over fifty years. Initially, it followed a Luxembourgish curriculum, leading to qualifications similar to a baccalaureate.
In response to the increasing demand for an English-language curriculum, Lycée Michel Lucius started classes in English in 2011. This option is for students who speak English as their first or second language. This program has grown into a diverse International School with over 400 students from more than 70 countries. The International School is now a part of Lycée Michel Lucius, known as Lycée Michel Lucius. It follows an international English curriculum leading to qualifications like GCSE and GCE A-Levels.
In 2017, to accommodate more international students, the International School Michel Lucius opened a new primary school. Initially in Belair and later moved to Limpertsberg, it is close to the established secondary school.
Lycée Michel Lucius is now a thriving community with over 1500 students and more than 150 teachers. The school is easily accessible by local buses (numbers 2, 8, and 30), connecting to Limpertsberg, the city center, the railway station, and suburbs like Strassen, Belair, Merl, Bonnevoie, and Hollerich.
