Maria Montessori School
The Maria Montessori School (MMS) is a private international school in Luxembourg. It's for kids aged 3 to 12 and follows the Montessori curriculum. The school has four classes, each with around 25 students. They have cool stuff like a restaurant, gym, music room, and a kitchen for students, all in a lovely villa with a playground and pretty gardens.
The school building is a prominent character house surrounded by 2300 m² of wooded grounds. There's also a Childcare Centre on the same site for extra comfort and safety. This way, students can stay on-site and be supervised by their familiar teachers for all their activities.
At MMS, students get to learn in different areas. In the bilingual nursery classes, they learn practical life skills, basic geometry and math, and reading and writing. In the primary category, they build on their language and reading skills, tackle more advanced math and geometry, and learn about geography, history, and botany. They get to know a lot of cool stuff.
Since Luxembourg speaks three languages, MMS teaches German and French, like public primary education here. They do this to match the kids' natural learning periods and ensure they have a strong language foundation for later. In primary school, they also introduce English because it's the most widely spoken language in the world.
Outside of class, nursery and primary school students have many activities to choose from. The garden and restaurant help them make friends, while the gym, kitchen, and art room let them show off their personalities.
