Mapua University (MU)
Mapua University (previously known as Mapa Institute of Technology) is a non-sectarian, research-oriented university in the Philippines.
Mapua University produces architects, engineers, and scientists who work in the architectural and engineering disciplines. Along with academic brilliance, Mapa aspires to be a part of the solution to the worldwide challenge of climate change. Mapa has long been a proponent of environmental protection and engineering. Furthermore, environmental engineering and environmental science courses have been added to all of the University's engineering and non-engineering departments, respectively.
Architecture, Engineering, Multimedia and Visual Arts, and Social Science programs are housed in the Intramuros Campus. The facility has just undergone extensive renovations and is now ready for additional engineering research. The Mapua Information Technology Center (MITC) is housed at the old RCBC building on the junction of Gil Puyat Avenue and Nicanor Garcia Street in Makati City. Malls and leisure facilities, such as the Ayala Center, are easily accessible from the campus. Aside from the Mapua IT Center's associate degrees, the Makati Campus is home to the Schools of Information Technology, Health Sciences, and Business & Management. The facility includes a simulated hospital for the School of Health Sciences as well as technology to assist the Information Technology departments.

The Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA) has given the university's Civil Engineering department Level IV Accredited accreditation, making it one of the first engineering programs to get such recognition.
Mapua University has risen to the top of the Asian university rankings. It is ranked 401–450 in the 2019 Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) Asia University Rankings. Mapua University is one of the best universities in the Philippines included on the list.
In general, the Admissions Office is in responsible of admitting incoming freshmen, transferees, vocational course graduates, and college graduates from other institutions who choose to attend the University. From application through administration of admission tests and enrollment, the office aids them. It is also in charge of promoting and marketing the University to high schools in Metro Manila, neighboring provinces, and other nations having established testing centers.
