Marian Gaborik
Marian Gaborik is a well-known hockey player from Slovakia. Slovak NHL right winger who was selected to his first All-Star game with the Minnesota Wild in 2003. After playing with the New York Rangers and Columbus Blue Jackets, he joined the Los Angeles Kings and helped them win the Stanley Cup in 2014.
Marian Gaborik began his professional career in 1997-1998 with the Dukla Trecin junior squad. He featured in 36 games for the club and scored 59 points. When he joined the Trecin full-time, his hockey abilities significantly improved.
The Minnesota Wild selected him as the third overall choice in the NHL Entry Draft in 2000. He won the quickest skater competition at the 2003 NHL All-Star Game.
Gaborik was traded to the New York Rangers after eight seasons with the franchise. During his time with the Rangers, he was named MVP of the NHL All-Star Game in Ottawa.
