Paul Kariya

Paul Kariya is a $64 million net worth former professional hockey player from Canada. In October 1974, Paul Kariya was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Kariya was a member of the Hockey East Association's Maine Black Bears. The Mighty Ducks of Anaheim selected him fourth overall in the 1993 NHL Draft.


He was a left winger with the Colorado Avalanche, Nashville Predators, and St. Louis Blues for 15 seasons. He was chosen to the NHL All-Rookie Team in his rookie season. He was named to the NHL First All-Star Team three times and finished second in the Hart Memorial Trophy voting in 1997. For the Anaheim Ducks, Kariya owns the marks for most overtime goals in a single season, most shots in a single season, and longest tenured captain. He also has the most assists and points in a single season with the Nashville Predators. After multiple concussions, Paul was forced to retire.
