McMaster University
The city of Hamilton, located just over an hour southwest of Toronto, is home to Canada's fourth-ranked university and the world's 72nd-ranked university. McMaster is beautifully situated on 121 hectares of land and is only a 15-minute drive from the Royal Botanical Gardens. The university international student exchange agreements with over 70 universities outside Canada, enabling its students to earn credits while studying abroad.

McMaster University was founded in 1881 as a result of a bequest from prominent banker William McMaster. It now oversees six academic faculties, including those in business, social science, health science, engineering, humanities, and natural sciences. The university follows the McMaster Model, which is their educational policy for an interdisciplinary and student-centered approach to learning, across these disciplines. McMaster University has received recognition for its research efforts, particularly in health science. A 780-square-meter biology greenhouse and a brain bank that houses a portion of Albert Einstein's brain are among their first-rate research facilities.
