Medical University of Graz

The Medical University of Graz is an Austrian public medical university in Graz. Franz Joseph I created the Karl-Franzens-Universität in Graz's medical faculty in 1863. The previous faculty became a separate university in 2004. The Medical University of Graz became the first university in Austria to have a White Coat Ceremony for its third-year students on October 8, 2012.

Over 2,500 academic and general staff members, as well as 4,350 students, work at the Medical University of Graz to conduct research, teach, and learn in an innovative manner for the benefit of our patients' health and well-being.
