Michael’s on the Hill
Michael's on the Hill is dedicated to environmental protection and is constantly working to improve in order to reduce our environmental impact. They invite others to join them in conserving natural resources, minimizing waste generation and harmful material use, recycling, purchasing recycled items, and pollution avoidance.
Michael Kloeti, the restaurant's owner and chef, has received numerous awards. Vermont's first "chef of the year" award was given to him. Following his schooling in Switzerland, he embarked on a culinary odyssey that took him to some of the world's most prestigious restaurants before launching his own in Waterbury Center, Vermont. Rolling hills, fields, and gardens surround this 19th-century farmhouse-turned-restaurant on all sides. Each room in the house has its own atmosphere. The atmosphere is undeniably romantic, but the food is a genuine star. Michael's claims to offer a "real farm-to-table eating experience" and serves "Continental cuisine". In addition to the unexpectedly large dinner menu and quiet bar, tasting meals are available in Michael's on the Hill.
