The Worthy Burger
Sometimes all you want is a burger and a pint of beer. The Worthy Burger in South Royalton can satisfy all of these desires and more. The Worthy Burger, housed in a rustic, restored railroad station, serves basic, fresh burgers and sandwiches as well as a well-curated craft beer selection. Worthy Burger claims that Vermont's cold weather makes trees grow slower, resulting in denser, hotter-burning wood and better-tasting burgers and that it employs a wood-fire oven powered by Vermont hardwood. The lovely scent of wood smoke, of course, stays in the air all year.
The Worthy Burger only utilizes grass-fed meat, line-caught fish, and poultry that have been raised ethically. Every day, they hand-cut their fries and fry them twice in Wagyu beef tallow. Tallow is loaded with vitamins and Omega-3 fatty acids, making it far healthier than vegetable oil and far more delicious.
