Mitchell Aaron Starc (born 30 January 1990) is an Australian cricketer who now represents the Australian national team as well as New South Wales in domestic cricket. He's a left-arm quick bowler who can also bat left-handed in the lower order. He was a key player of the winning Australian team that won the 2015 Cricket World Cup, and his consistent efforts earned him Player of the Tournament honors. He is the joint fifth highest wicket taker in World Cup history with 49 wickets.
He is the fastest left-arm bowler in the world, capable of routinely bowling at 150 km/h. In cricket, his fastest delivery was 160.4 kph against the New Zealand side in the test format. This places him among the world's top five fastest bowlers.
