Shaun William Tait (born February 22, 1983) is a former professional cricketer from Australia. He represented Australia as a right-arm fast bowler in all three forms of cricket, although he was most successful in One Day Internationals and Twenty20 cricket, where he was a member of Australia's undefeated team at the 2007 Cricket World Cup. During his career, Tait received four honors, including the Bradman Young Cricketer of the Year in 2004. During his time, he was one of the world's quickest bowlers.
Shaun Tait is the third fastest bowler in the Australian team's history. He is noted for his aggressive bowling style as well as his fast speed. In 2008, he bowled the fastest bowl of his career against England, clocking in at 161.1 kilometers per hour. He is presently the third fastest bowler in the history of cricket. He can also routinely bowl at speeds of more than 150 km/h.
