Shoaib Akhtar (born August 13, 1975) is a former Pakistani cricketer and cricket commentator. In honor of his speed and hometown, he was dubbed the "Rawalpindi Express." In November 1997, he made his Test debut as an opening fast bowler, and three months later, he played his maiden One Day International.
