More Than Blue

"More Than Blue" is the story of K, a terminally sick man who genuinely loves his childhood lover Cream but keeps it hidden and continues to hunt for a good marriage for her so that she will not be alone after his death. As it turns out, he never confesses his affections for her until the very end, when she's set to marry Joo-hwan, with whom Cream has seemingly fallen in love in order to placate K.

After K and Cream declare their love for each other, and Cream marries Joo-hwan, it is subsequently revealed that after K's death, Cream committed suicide in order to be with her beloved. The primary performances are highly developed and thoroughly convincing, and although most melodramas go crazy, this one is surprisingly moving. It's a gorgeously poignant and heartbreakingly delicate piece of intimate romance that will undoubtedly touch your heart.
