Nevis Botanical Gardens
Nevis Botanical Gardens is the fifth name on the list of the best places in Saint Kitts and Nevis. The gorgeous, lushly tropical Nevis Botanical Garden, nestled in the imposing shadow of Mount Nevis, is just a short drive from Charlestown and its luxury resorts. The Montpelier Estates owned the land where the gardens are now. The 5-acre gardens have a wide range of tropical plants from around the world, as well as a cool waterfall, dolphin fountains, and a water lily pool. The royal poinciana, St. Kitts and Nevis's national flower blooms spectacularly.
Many colorful bromeliads, exotic orchids, and more than 100 varieties of palm trees may be found in the shady Orchid Terraces. The fabric-like blossoms of the calico vine and the rich aroma of the stephanotis will thrill you in the Tropical Vine Garden.
