New York University (Steinhardt)

The New York University Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development (commonly referred to as Steinhardt) is New York University's secondary liberal arts and education school. It is one of the world's only schools of its kind. It was the first school of pedagogy to be established at an American university, and it was founded in 1890. Prior to 2001, it was known as the New York University School of Education.

At NYU Steinhardt, there are nearly 60 areas of study to choose from. The school's disciplines include education, health, the arts, and media studies. Master's and doctoral degrees, as well as advanced certificate programs, are available in these subjects. The Consortium for Research and Evaluation of Advanced Technologies in Education and the Research Alliance for New York City Schools are just two of Steinhardt's research centers and institutes. Students can join over 15 graduate student clubs and participate in the Graduate Student Organization, the Steinhardt graduate student government.
