Vanderbilt University (Peabody)
Vanderbilt University's Peabody College of Education and Human Development is one of ten colleges and schools. Peabody College educates students at the graduate, undergraduate, and professional levels. Peabody's faculty is divided into five departments and includes educators, psychologists, public policy analysts, human development specialists, special education teachers, educational leaders, and organizational development specialists.
Before becoming a part of Vanderbilt University in 1979, Peabody had a long history as an independent institution. In the 2021 rankings by US News & World Report, the college was ranked fourth among graduate schools of education in the United States. During 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013 editions of these rankings, it was ranked as the top graduate school of education in the country.
