Nightbooks

Nightbooks is a dark fantasy film directed by David Yarovesky and written by Mikki Daughtry and Tobias Iaconis that was released in 2021. It was launched on Netflix on September 15, 2021, and is based on J. A. White's 2018 horror-fantasy children's novel of the same name.

The film is directed by David Yarovesky and follows Alex, a little child who is kidnapped by an evil witch. Realizing that his death is virtually inevitable, the child obsessed with horror stories persuades her to tell new stories every night in order to prevent a horrible death. When Alexwitch's servant, Yazmin, decides that she no longer wants to be with her, the two devise a scheme to preserve their lives.
