Nysted
A small population of Denmark is found in one of the Nordic nation's most picturesque straits, the Guldborgsund Strait, as part of its odd geographic distribution. So, a large part of Nysted's appeal as a tourist destination is getting around between the two, taking in the scenery and the abundance of wildlife and plants. You can't miss its palace and castle, which have a design that is completely dissimilar from what we typically see in southern Europe. The Aalholm complex offers unrivaled coastal vistas.
Its most traditional portion has a distinct Viking feel, and its harbor is particularly lovely and maintains the character of a seafaring town (it has an area dedicated as a marina where the contrast between the two areas is better appreciated). The beach area in Nysted is a peaceful place to wander. It is perfect for anyone seeking peace and quiet as it is not one of Denmark's busiest tourist destinations.
