Thyborøn
Without a sign, this small but lovely town takes one place on the list of the most beautiful towns in Denmark or the routes through towns of the Nordic countries. Yet, thanks to its strategic location, it has become a hub of both history and stories.
Hence, when you set foot on this gorgeous town, you can see some one-of-a-kind buildings, including the Sneglehuset museum. With a completely shell-covered appearance, this house is a wonderful place for children to play around, since the visit is a quick tour ( about 30 minutes).
Also, you can wander through the Memorial to the Battle of Jutland which is an open-air museum that recalls the important naval battle between the English and Germans during World War I, or the area of fortifications that the Nazis set in the town in the course of World War II.
