Pirita linnaosa

Pirita is a subdistrict in the district of Pirita, Tallinn, the capital of Estonia. It is situated close to the Pirita River Estuary and Tallinn Bay. There are 960 people living in the subdivision (As of 1 January 2014). The 1980 summer Olympics' sailing competitions will be held in Pirita. Tallinn saw the construction of a number of sports facilities, including the Pirita Yachting Centre and the Hotel Olümpia, in the run-up to the Olympics.


The largest beach in Tallinn, Pirita, is situated there yet beachgoers from all across the city frequent it. From the city center, buses can take you there. Playgrounds for kids, locker rooms, and facilities for ball activities are available at the beach. In the summer, there are kiosks, ten-pin bowling club bars, and beach bars. There is a tiny market as well. Beach chairs can also be rented.
