Võsu alevik
The community of Võsu is situated on Käsmu Bay's southern shore on Estonia's northern coast. The town is 75 kilometers from Tallinn and is part of the municipality of Haljala in the county of Lääne-Viru. The settlements of Lobi, Lahe, Koolimäe, Koljaku, Korjuse, and Eru are located in the Võsu region. The township was designated as the administrative hub of the Haljala municipality following the 2017 administrative reform.
Võsu is home to one of the most popular sandy beaches among holidaymakers in the region. Lifeguards, changing rooms, restrooms, and showers are all on-site at the beach. Those who enjoy the sun and are active can use the outdoor gym or play a variety of ball activities. The adjoining playground allows kids to swing and play. A pump track is available for teenagers who enjoy BMX and roller skating. Soft drinks and snacks are also available for purchase on the beach during the summer. Within a few hundred meters of the beach is the little village of Võsu, where the closest eateries and stores are situated. The beach also offers wireless internet access.
