Punch (2011)
Yoo Ah In plays Do Wan Deuk in Punch for the first time as the lead character in a feature-length movie, beginning a new chapter in his acting career. Despite having a small budget, the movie touches on a number of underrepresented aspects of Korean society, including overseas marriage, the migrant workforce, and university exams with covert pressure strain on schoolchildren.
This drama, which is based on Kim Yeo-novel ryung's of the same name, tells the story of Wandeugi, a teenage rebel who grows up after meeting a teacher. The father of Wandeuk has a hunchback. He shared the home with someone who was also not entirely normal. Additionally, Wanduk's Filipino mother unexpectedly entered his life. To Wandeuk, they are all incredibly valuable. and Dong-joo, his instructor. Although they don't get along, the two are more inseparable than the entire family despite their continual arguments and frequent confrontations.
