Veteran (2015)

The Ryoo Seung Wan-directed action movie was a huge hit. The movie received 13.4 million views and rose to the third-highest box office position in Korean cinema history. Run to Escape was also the recipient of the Casa Asia Award at the Sitges Film Festival. Yoo Ah In achieved the distinction of "10 million ticket actor" as the youngest male lead thanks to his peak performance as the villain Jo Tae Oh in "Veteran".

Veteran recounts the altercation between young teacher Cho Tae Oh (Yoo Ah In) and policeman Seo Do Cheol (Hwang Jung Min). When Seo Do Cheol is tasked with looking into a high-profile case, he finds that Cho Tae Oh, the haughty third-generation generation heir to the Sinjin conglomerate, is concealing a crime. Cho Tae Oh consistently escapes thanks to his resources and connections, despite Seo Do Cheol's best efforts to bring his crime to light. Seo Do Cheol encounters Cho Tae Oh and puts himself and his family in perilous situations as a result of his actions.
