Regent University College of Science and Technology
In Accra, Ghana, the Regent University College of Science and Technology (also known as Regent-Ghana) is located. It was established in September 2003, and in 2004 it was granted accreditation to function as a postsecondary institution. It began lectures with 30 pioneer students at Mataheko's Trinity Campus in January 2005.The University now operates out of a purpose-built campus at McCarthy Hill, just off the Mallam-Kasoa-Winneba Highway. It is regarded as one of Ghana's most prestigious private scientific and technology universities. Regent was ranked third best institution in Ghana in the 14th edition of the Webometrics Ranking of World Universities. In the July 2020 edition of the Webometrics Ranking of World Universities, Regent University College of Science and Technology was named the top private university in Ghana. In the same edition of the bi-annual rating, Regent is recognized as Ghana's 7th best university.
Previously, this co-educational high school was linked with the Christian-Evangelical faith. It has a variety of bachelor's, pre- bachelor's, and post-degree bachelor's programs to choose from.
Despite the fact that this university is just two decades old, it has achieved unparalleled academic accomplishment. In a competitive environment, it has a track record of cultivating purpose-driven individuals with science and technology skills. Other external academic entities, including as the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, have membership and links with the school (KNUST).
