Rezekne Academy of Technologies

The fourth famous university in the top 10 best universities in Latvia that Toplist would like to introduce to you is Rezekne Academy of Technologies. Rezekne Academy of Technologies (Latvian: Rēzeknes Tehnoloģiju akadēmija) is a higher education and scientific research institution in Rēzekne, Latvia. It is one of two Augstskola (literally "high school") in Eastern Latvia. The university is one of the schools worth considering for foreign students who want to learn about studying abroad in this country.

In 1922, Rēzekne established a teacher's college. In the 1980s, the Latvian Popular Front supported the principle of further higher education in Latgale. Classes at the University of Latvia began in 1991, and the Rēzeknes Augstskola was officially established in 1993. In 2016, the current name was adopted. In English, the former name was changed to Rezekne Higher Education Institution.

The Academy is divided into three faculties:

• Faculty of Education, Languages, and Design
• Faculty of Engineering
• Faculty of Economics and Management
