University of Liepāja (Latvian: Liepājas Universitāte) is a university in Liepāja, Latvia. Liepaja University, founded in 1954, is a state-accredited higher education institution that offers study programs at all three levels of study: basic studies, master's studies, and doctorate studies. The total number of students is approximately 2000, divided into approximately 30 study directions. The University of Liepāja offers five full-time English-taught degree programs: Computer science, Physics, Information Technology (Bachelor) and Information Technology, New Media Arts (Master). The University of Liepāja is one of the region's oldest higher education institutions.
