Scooby-Doo: Where Are You!
The animation is actually rather good for the late 1960s animated program. The primary cast stands out against the bleak backdrop thanks to their bright attire. The series' antagonists, albeit evident in their actual identities as adults, are iconic. Shaggy and Scooby generate several chuckles, while the rest of the gang, with their running jokes, make wonderful supporting characters. Scooby-Doo is unmistakably iconic.
Since its inception, the program has stayed relevant in some form or another, and while most of them pale in comparison to the original, some of the series and films are excellent. If you haven't seen Mystery Incorporated, you should. It's a fantastic, contemporary, and slightly darker take on the genre. Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island and the live-action flicks (don't get get me started on Sarah Michelle Geller as Daphne, she's an absolute queen) establish Scooby-Doo as one of the all-time greats in animation.
