The Simpsons
The Simpsons is a Fox Broadcasting Company animated comedy developed by Matt Groening. The Simpson family, which comprises Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, and Maggie, is a satirical picture of American society. The program takes place in the fictitious town of Springfield and mocks American culture and society, television, and the human condition.
The Simpsons enjoyed an astonishing ten-season run. The comedy is smart, and the quips will make you laugh out loud even though you are alone in your house. Every character (and there were a lot of them) had their own specialty and tickled my funny bone in their own unique way. However, by season thirteen, the gags were no longer as amusing, and many of the characters had degraded from the classics that they once were. That was EIGHTEEN seasons ago, and they've come a long way since then. However, it is still the best cartoon of all time, and you should see it.
