Secret Garden

The fantasy rom-com Secret Garden rationalizes the Cinderella narrative. Gil Ra-Im is a stuntwoman who aspires to be a martial arts director one day. During a dispute with Kim Joo-Won, the CEO of a high-end department, in which he is attempting to handle a problem involving his cousin, she has her soul exchanged with his, and a unique relationship blooms. Joo-Won has been perplexed as to why Ra-Im has been on his thoughts so much that he chooses to follow her. Despite her initial repulsion, Ra-im gives in to her impulses and develops affections for him.

To add insult to injury, Joo-mother Won's does not approve of their relationship. Despite the opposition, they manage to stay together, and the plot takes a new direction. The narrative depicts the social class divide and demonstrates how, despite their differences, the two find a way to be together.
