Voice is a Korean drama series that follows the life of 112 emergency and dispatch team members as they try to solve situations with insufficient information. Two of their best detectives join forces to track out a serial murderer who has murdered members of their family. Moo Jin Hyuk is a well-known investigator who has solved important crimes in the past. Hyuk's life spirals down a terrible road after his wife is found brutally killed by a serial murderer. Hyuk, who is plagued with remorse, keeps to himself while discreetly searching for her killer.
Kang Kwon-Joo just graduated from the police academy as the highest student in her class. She finds herself working at the emergency 112 call center soon after. A call about a gruesome murder comes through while she is working at the contact center. Her father, a police sergeant, is assigned to the investigation and is found killed shortly after visiting the crime site. Kwon-Joo is devastated by her father's death and decides to finish her education in the United States before returning to Korea as a professional voice profiler.
