With over 125 years of experience, SEK Bucharest International School is a private educational establishment that provides students with an exceptional international education by offering top-notch programs for Kindergarten, Primary School, Secondary School, and High School.
SEK Bucharest International School blends traditional values with a modern, global approach to education. It is a part of the larger organization of International Education Systems (IES). During the 2020–2021 school year, the school will provide educational services to children ages 3 to 10, and in the years that follow, it will create Middle and High School curricula.

Students at SEK Bucharest International School are also given the option to study overseas and take part in annual field trips that are arranged in one or more of the school's sister institutions across the globe.
The five-week International Student Program (ISP) is designed for students in the fourteen- to eighteen-year-old age range. This competition, whether it be cultural or athletic, is held at one of the gathering places for students from the 26 institutions that make up the institution.
