    Verita International School

Verita International School is one of the best British schools in Bucharest. Nowadays, Verita is known for equipping students with the subject knowledge, critical thinking, emotional intelligence, and creative problem-solving abilities needed to succeed in an increasingly complex world. This reputation was built with each new campus, where the curriculum was improved and optimized.

After establishing itself on four campuses and enrolling more than a thousand students, Verita International School has left its mark on Romania and is still growing into an international institution that challenges conventional wisdom.

Verita International School applies the IBL curriculum to students. IBL is a type of active learning that, as opposed to merely imparting information or presenting a clear route to understanding, begins with the formulation of questions, problems, or scenarios. Pupils learn to investigate, scrutinize, and pose important questions.

Students make connections between what they already know and new information through IBL. They acquire higher-order thinking abilities, which are essential for success in college and beyond, and include the capacity for analysis, evaluation, and synthesis.

Verita International School is dedicated to using the Early Years Foundation Stage's four primary themes—A Unique Child, Positive Relationships, Enabling Environments, Academic Learning, and Socio-Emotional Development—as the foundation for its mission in its reception classes. The children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Reception years adhere to the English curriculum.

Primary students are encouraged to investigate their surroundings and gain knowledge through hands-on experiences, with an emphasis on inquiry and experiential learning. Teachers, learning assistants, and administrators carefully plan classroom environments and learning opportunities to support an interdisciplinary approach to education that enables students to apply knowledge and skills from a range of academic subjects.

The National Curriculum of England and Wales serves as the foundation for the International Middle Years Curriculum. For students in Years 7-9, it changes the curriculum to a more pertinent and inquiry-based style of instruction.

For students in Years 10 and 11, Pearson Edexcel, the biggest testing organization in the UK, administers the International GCSE through VIS. For students in Years 12 and 13, the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme (DP) is a two-year curriculum.

Graduate teachers from Romania who are local and from Britain make up the teaching staff. Every year, the group at IBSB has no more than 23 students. A British professional is accompanied by assistant teachers in every junior class.

There are two ways to get to the International British School of Bucharest: by bus and metro. There is a dedicated science lab and an ICT suite at the secondary school. A sizable play area is located in front of the school.

The school offers a full schedule of after-school activities, hot lunches, and a bus service. For senior students enrolled in examination programs, there is also a Saturday morning revision program. For students, the academic year lasts 180 days and starts in September every year.

In England, there is a student council and a prefect system in place in addition to the wearing of school uniforms. The school accepts students of all ages and ability levels, with an open admissions policy.

As part of the CAS program, the school also provides Year 12 and 13 students with the opportunity to volunteer. The school is open Monday through Thursday from 08.30 to 16.00 and on Friday from 8.30 to 15.00.

    International Maarif Schools of Bucharest

English is used as the primary language of instruction at International Maarif Schools of Bucharest (IMSB), an international school. The school's facilities are roomy and include large, technologically equipped classrooms that promote a positive learning environment. It offers a range of activities that cater to the interests and needs of our learners.

The relationships within the school community are determined by transparency and cooperation. The school wants to equip its pupils with the knowledge, morals, and abilities needed to become decent citizens who enhance their local area.

An admissions committee chooses prospective students based on objective standards, such as age, placement, entrance exam results, prior academic history, student interview outcomes, student health, and space availability.

In Bucharest, the International Maarif Preschool Education Program is put into practice. Program created to take into account and support children's complete needs during this vital time in their lives. The kindergarten curriculum is an intentionally created, interactive learning approach that aims to give kids a solid academic foundation. This three-year program is available to students in grades 3 through 6.

Cambridge Primary offers IMSB an adaptable framework for customizing the curriculum to meet its requirements. To track students' progress, identify what they are learning, and notify parents, the school offers assessment tools. A great way to get ready for Cambridge Secondary 1 is through Cambridge Primary.

During the first three years of secondary education, learners' skills and understanding of English, Mathematics, and Science are developed through Cambridge Secondary 1. Excellent preparation for Cambridge Secondary 2 can be found in Cambridge Secondary 1. The Secondary School offers a wide curriculum that helps students advance their knowledge and proficiency in a language, math, science, technology, humanities, and social studies.

Starting with the faculty they will enroll in, high school students are free to select their subjects based on how relevant they are to the career path they want to pursue. The educational program at the school serves to assist them in making well-informed decisions regarding the beginning of their careers.

Extracurricular Management System (EMS), a management information system used by educational institutions to handle extracurricular data and procedures, is proudly used by International Maarif Schools of Bucharest.

All students are encouraged to participate in a wide variety of extracurricular activities, which makes it easier for them to enjoy music, drama, and art classes and explore the creative side of school life. The extracurricular system is integrated into the regular classroom of the school.

      Acorns Nursery

Acorns Nursery is a project that was inspired by a group of mothers and implemented by a skilled team dedicated to the child's education, care, and overall development. It was the first accredited private daycare in Romania, the first to get the "Every Child Matters" standard, and the first school to be recognized with the "Investors in People" award, which is a benchmark for personnel management.

Every activity at Acorns is conducted in English and provides interactive teaching techniques in a joyful, inspiring, and secure setting that is specifically created to meet the needs of every child. For your child's unending growth and integration, Acorns provides the finest tools and approaches in the fields of education, culture, and creativity.

Since a child's development is most critical between the ages of 0 and 3, when the brain develops to 80% of its potential, Acorns advocates for high-quality care during this critical period. Unlike the typical Romanian nursery model, which has one teacher for every four children, Baby Acorns was the first nursery in Bucharest to receive authorization to operate. For kids aged one to three, Baby Acorns provides a full or half-day program focused on engaging activities.

Intelligently designed environments foster children's creativity, curiosity, self-expression, and distinct personalities. Because of this, Acorns Nursery holds educators and the entire Acorns team to the highest standard of responsibility when it comes to playing.

Acorns Nursery provides a play-based learning plan that satisfies all of the Early Years Foundation Stage requirements for the first few years. Through fostering their natural curiosity and exploration instinct, kids learn that education can be enjoyable and participatory.

In England and Wales, the Early Years Foundation Stage learning plan sets the benchmark for child care, education, and development for children under five years old. This approach embodies the fundamental, pedagogical, and developmental tenets of Acorns. Similarly, to fully and as widely as possible diversify the educational process, the school offers extracurricular activities.
