Serra da Leba
Serra da Leba is the name of a mountain range in Angola that runs between the provinces of Hula and Namibe. It's one of the world's most famous hairpin roads. The magnificent Serra da Leba is a one-of-a-kind and enjoyable sight to behold. The road is completely paved and is located 20 kilometers west of Lubango. Estrada Nacional 280 is the name of the road. The Serra da Leba pass is said to be named after a Portuguese woman who designed and built the road and died after seeing it on the day it was completed. The road, which has been one of the country's postcard images for decades, is a wonder of engineering given the era in which it was built.
It is one of Angola's most beautiful sites, particularly in the province of Huila. It's a zig-zag road that runs through the highlands. Walking through the Serra da Leba is a terrific experience, as it provides an incredible perspective over the Namibe province as well as beautiful rocks that will entice you to return.
