Tundavala Rift

Tundavala Rift is a recommendation for you to visit an incredibly beautiful and amazing destination in Angola outside of the capital city in order to not base your trip just on Luanda. The Fenda do Tundavala, located in the province of Huila, is a 1200 meter abyss that is regarded as one of Angola's seven marvels. Fenda do Tundavala is one of the best tourist sites in Angola, as well as one of the most beautiful places to visit. It is located in Serra da Leba, about 18 kilometers from the capital of the province of Huila, the city of Lubango.

The viewpoint is breathtaking, extending 300 meters wide and 1 kilometer straight down. It's 18 kilometers from Lubango, and if you're camping, there's a fantastic spot nearby called Tundavala camp, which is now being upgraded. A world's hidden natural wonder! A breathtaking 1-kilometer-high cliff with a narrow gap in the middle and a lush green valley below. It was wonderful to be fully alone and connected to nature. This location is only a short, scenic drive from Lubango. If you're a Lunbango, this is a must-see!
