South Dakota State University
South Dakota State Institution, located in Brookings, South Dakota, is a public land-grant research university. It was founded in 1881 and is the state's largest and most comprehensive university, as well as the state's oldest continuously running institution. The South Dakota Board of Regents controls the state's six public institutions and two special schools, as well as the university.
South Dakota State Institution is a land-grant university established under the Morrill Act of 1862.
