ST PIERRE ISLAND

St Pierre island, located just off the coast of Praslin, is a tiny granite rock formation with strings of coconut palms reaching out from its center. The island is 1.5 kilometers away from Praslin's Pointe Zanguilles. Surrounding its coastlines are beautiful coral reefs and crystal pure blue sea. As a result, this is one of the best Seychelles islands for snorkeling and scuba diving. The waters near St. Pierre are popular with swimmers and yachtsmen, who use the island as a background for a stunning Seychelles sunset.

This little islet with its granite profile intermingled with a few coconut palms has come to define the classic Seychelles island, featuring in various commercial campaigns, posters, and evocative images. It is one of several islands in the Gulf of Côte d'Or on Praslin. The sixth episode of the American reality shows The Amazing Race 16 was shot on the island.
