Tarrafal Beach
Tarrafal Beach, located in the north of Santiago Island, is without a doubt one of the nicest beaches on the island. The lush Monte Graciosa and Tarrafal are nearby. Only a few years ago, Tarrafal was not touristy at all! The beauty of Tarrafal's beach is attracting an increasing number of visitors. Another reason to go to Tarrafal is to see the museum dedicated to political prisoners incarcerated in the concentration camp from 1936 until 1974.
This is a fantastic beach, and you can begin snorkeling as soon as you dip your head into the water. There are a lot of fish to see. The beach is sandy, tranquil, and conveniently located near eateries. There would be a mix of tourists and locals swimming, as well as a restaurant nearby. There was also parking available at the beach.
Because of its smooth beach, clean waters, and amenities, Tarrafal Beach is a sheer delight! Swimming is permitted, and it is a popular location for families. Because Tarrafal is one of Santiago's most popular vacation spots, stay wary of muggers at night!
