Tell me about a time when you were working on a project, and you realized that you needed to make changes to what you were doing. How did you feel about the work you had already completed?

Employers could probe your concepts and problem-solving abilities by asking, "Tell me about a time you enhanced a procedure." That is one of the Amazon behavioral interview questions with answers. They want to know if you can take the initiative to make the workplace better. They can be looking for creative, motivated workers who can raise the organization's morale and productivity.

You must have a response ready in advance. If you haven't done any preparation before your interview, it's quite difficult to provide a well-thought-out, five-star response. Make a list of all the significant projects you've worked on throughout your career to get a head start on preparing a response to this interview question. Then, make a note of the objectives of each project and the role you played in completing each one. The results of all the projects should then be noted.

Answer:

In my previous position, I bought out a rival company. My responsibility included making sure that all of its products were included in our sales system. My manager provided me with a list of all the company's current items, along with their descriptions and prices. I gave this top priority among my other tasks because I recognized the value of seamless integration. When I discovered that the data I had been given had an error, I had already spent nearly two days entering it into our system. The information I had been given was outdated, and many of the items I had been entering into the system were things that the rival company had stopped selling. I instantly ceased entering data and got in touch with my manager to talk about the following steps. Together, we were able to gather the right information, and I then had to spend more time getting rid of the false information from the system. Even though it was annoying to have wasted so much time entering inaccurate data, I managed to stay on target and keep my attention on the issue at hand.
