The Pursuit of Happyness
The Pursuit of Happyness is a moving film with humanistic lessons about the actual meaning of the word "happy". The film's primary character, Chris, is based on a true tale of an employee who consistently suffers business disasters. Chris's wife was frustrated with the family's debt, departed, and left behind a young kid. The worst happened when the father and son were evicted from their residence for failing to pay their rent and became vagrants.
Chris and his son had to spend the night in the filthy facilities at a train station while traveling for a living. Nonetheless, he works tirelessly to ensure a good life for himself and his kid. Many people will ask why the word "Happyness" isn't misspelled. But it's all a result of the director's genuine intentions. The use of the letter Y instead of the letter "I" forces people to reconsider the notion of "Happiness". Happiness is not about money or conforming to a stereotype, what makes one person happy may not make another happy. Each person has their own notion of happiness, whether big or small, the most important thing is to figure out what you need and then go out of your way to find it.
