Toko Telo
Toko Telo, run by Landy, an instructor at Tana Kitchen culinary school, with which this restaurant shares facilities, is our choice for well-produced Malagasy specialties. Aside from soups, there are main courses of pork, zebu, shellfish, and chicken, as well as sorbets (try the baobab flavor) and pastries. Try the zanadandy, or fried local caterpillars, for a true local delicacy.
Toko Telo is a Malagasy restaurant located in the heart of Antananarivo. The name refers to the three stones used to construct a cooking hearth, and this restaurant specializes in traditional Malagasy cuisine.
They feature an "A la carte menue" as well as a day menue, and one of today's options was Malagasy meatballs.
