Turok

Turok is a first-person shooter video game created by Propaganda Games and released in February 2008 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 by Disney Interactive Studios (under its Touchstone Games imprint). It was then ported to Microsoft Windows in April. The game is a revival of earlier Turok video games and is partially based on the comic book series of the same name.

Players take on the role of Native American space marine Joseph Turok, who is part of a crew dispatched to a distant planet to catch General Roland Kane, Turok's previous commanding officer and now a wanted war criminal. Turok finds that the planet is home to a variety of dinosaurs after crash landing, and he must fight both the predatory monsters and Kane's secret army on his mission to assassinate his old mentor. Critics had conflicting feelings about the game. Following the demise of Propaganda Games, a planned sequel to Turok was canceled.
