Ulu Temburong National Park
Brunei's lush sceneries are without a doubt the crown treasure. This enormous 50,000-hectare area of untouched rainforests runs across the majority of the southern district and is considered one of the world's most diversified ecosystems.
The Ulu Temburong National Park is located in the easternmost section of Brunei, in the Temburong district. This is a domain belonging to Borneo's longhouse communities and its old culture, as well as a large range of lowland and mountain forests harbouring numerous unique species. From watching gibbons hunt along the river at dawn to listening to the quiet, relaxing sounds of the jungle at dusk, this eye-to-eye encounter with nature is sure to stick with you long after you've reunited with civilisation.
