Utah Lake
In the middle of Utah County, Utah, in the United States, has Utah Lake, a shallow freshwater lake. It is located in Utah Valley and is encircled by the Provo-Orem metropolis. The Jordan River, the lake's sole river exit, is a tributary of the Great Salt Lake. 42% of the lake's outflow is due to evaporation, making it mildly saline. The lake is located 1,368 meters (4,489 ft) above sea level. The Jordan River's pumps and gates are left open if the lake's water level rises over that. Due to a drought, the lake's level has dropped recently.
This freshwater lake is shallow, and the surroundings are breathtaking. With a total surface area of 38,000 hectares, Utah Lake itself is located at a height of 1,368 meters.
The lake is used for a variety of activities, such as bird watching, relaxation, and water conservation. Fishing, boating, and water skiing are a few of them. There are hiking trails all around the lake if you'd like to stay on dry land. A few campgrounds and resorts are also nearby.
