Uvita Waterfall
Uvita waterfall is the next destination in the list of the most beautiful waterfalls in Costa Rica. Waterfalls abound in Costa Rica's South Pacific as a result of the lush jungle and nearby mountains. Some of them require a tour to reach because they are rather concealed. Others, like the Uvita waterfall, are conveniently located. A natural slide makes the little Uvita waterfall even more entertaining. You can ascend to the top and descend all the way into the pool by sliding! Additionally, it is relatively simple to reach from Uvita and only costs 1000 colones ($2 USD) to enter. It barely takes two minutes to walk down to the waterfall from the modest cafeteria the owners erected next to the parking lot.
If you arrive in the afternoon, swimming in one of the two pools is a pleasant way to beat the heat. The water is cool but refreshing. Drive a few hundred meters up the gravel road in the direction of the Uvita Info Center. The parking area is on the right side, and there are signs pointing the way to the Uvita waterfall.
