Voit

Established in 1922 by German-American entrepreneur William J. Voit, Voit, a sporting goods company, introduced the first one-piece rubber inflatable balls in the late 1920s. Meanwhile, the first needle-type air retaining valve was also developed and patented.

In 1931 Voit launched the first fully rubber sports ball, which included vulcanization, a process that allowed the material to be held in a separate rubber bag. In the next few years, they invented the icosahedral winding process, which allows the ball to be wrapped around the bladder with nylon thread. This groundbreaking technology adds more stability and strength to the shape of the ball and allows mass production via mechanical processing.

Voit has been the official ball partner of the Mexican League for years. Their roster of accomplishments and partnerships, coupled with the company's innovations and patents (which took them to a whole new level) make it absolutely one of the best soccer ball brands in the world.
