Wilson
Founded in 1913, the Wilson Sporting Goods Company is a sports equipment manufacturer known for producing game balls (and other equipment) for several sports, such as American football, golf, tennis, basketball, volleyball, and soccer.
In 1941 they began supplying official balls to the National Football League (NFL), and in 1979 a Chicago-based company signed a contract to supply official tennis balls for the US Open. Both contracts are in effect to this day. The company also is the owner of numerous brands, including Atec, DeMarini, EvoShield, Louisville Slugger, and Luxilon to provide sports equipment and protective gear for baseball, lacrosse, softball, and tennis.
With regard to football, since 2008 Wilson has been the official ball makers of NCAA Soccer (Division I, II, III Men's and Women's Championships). Partnership extended through 2021 - The current official NCAA ball is the Wilson NCAA Forte Fybird II.
